IBAN

The IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a code that uniquely identifies your account, branch, bank and country. For payments outside of the US or UK, having an IBAN greatly simplifies the process of sending funds to you.

IBANs start with two letters representing the country, followed by a bank, branch and then account number. A typical IBAN will look something like this:

	IE98 4561 9587 2911 8940 23

Your IBAN will normally appear on your bank statement. If not, your bank will be able to advise you of the correct number.
