Whisky bottle delivery: FAQs & returns
Where do you deliver to?
WhiskyInvestDirect will deliver to mainland UK addresses.
We do not deliver to addresses outside the UK mainland.
How much does delivery cost?
You will be charged a fee dependent on the number of bottles you order. The delivery fee is shown on the order page.
Delivery fees to the Scottish Highlands may vary.
How long does delivery take?
We aim for all deliveries to be with you within 3- 5 working days.
Please allow added time for deliveries to the Scottish Highlands.
Can you deliver to my work address?
When ordering, we default the delivery address to be your registered home address. However, you are welcome to change this to be to your work address, or any other mainland UK address.
We cannot deliver to P O Box or Mail Box addresses.
Can I order a delivery for someone else?
You can ask for your order to be delivered to someone else within the UK mainland, provided they are 18 years old or over.
I want to send the whisky as a gift. Can you leave the prices off the packing slip?
There is no packing slip and therefore no display of invoice price. The invoice will be available to download on your WhiskyInvestDirect account separately.
Can you include a message in my package? Or gift wrap my package?
We don’t offer additional services like personal messages or gift packaging.
What do I do if my package is damaged, or the bottles appear broken?
Please do not sign for your delivery. Ask the courier to return it to us and email us at email@example.com to let us know what happened. We will be happy to re-send your delivery if we have the available stock. If not we will credit your account once we have received the returned item(s).
If you open your box to discover that a bottle is damaged or broken, please take photos to prove the damage and email them to us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I cancel an order?
Email us at email@example.com from your registered WhiskyInvestDirect email address, citing your order number, WhiskyInvestDirect username & delivery details and say you want to cancel your order.
If your delivery order is not yet with our distributor, we will cancel it and return your funds to your WhiskyInvestDirect account.
If your order is with our distributor, you will need to return your package to us at your expense. Once we receive your bottle and confirm that they are in good condition, we will cancel your order and refund your WhiskyInvestDirect account. Only the original price and shipping fee are refundable.
How long do I have to cancel my order?
You can cancel and return your package to us up to 14 days after delivery. All bottles must be returned unopened and in resaleable condition. All bottles are returned at the buyer’s expense.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
