Whisky bottle delivery: FAQs & returns
Where do you deliver to?
James Eadie will deliver to mainland UK addresses (not including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Scottish Highlands & Islands).
If you want to enquire about delivery to non-mainland UK locations, please contact James Eadie directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Delivery fees will be higher than for mainland UK locations.
How much does delivery cost?
You will be charged a flat fee per order, for up to a maximum of 12 bottles (2 cases). The delivery fee is shown on the order page.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are normally processed the following working day and arrive within a further 2-3 working days. (Our office is closed on Saturday and Sunday and no orders will be processed on these days.)
This offer is exclusive for WhiskyInvestDirect clients. In order to keep prices low, we offer a basic service and don’t offer any other delivery options, such as 24-hour delivery or Saturday delivery.
How are the deliveries packaged?
Trade Mark ‘X’ bottles come in a branded carton. We take care to wrap the package carefully to ensure your whisky arrives in good condition.
Can you deliver to my work address?
When ordering, we default the delivery address to be your registered home address. However, you are welcome to change this to be to your work address, or any other mainland UK address.
We cannot deliver to P O Box or Mail Box addresses.
Can I order a delivery for someone else?
You can ask for your order to be delivered to someone else, provided they are over 18 years old.
I want to send the whisky as a gift. Can you leave the prices off the packing slip?
Our packing slip does not display prices. We will email you an invoice confirming prices separately.
Can you include a message in my package? Or gift wrap my package?
To keep administration of our service simple and so keep prices low, we don’t offer additional services.
Our top priority when packaging your whisky is to ensure it arrives in good condition. We have to pack everything very carefully with protective materials and this makes gift-wrapping impossible.
I want to order more than two cases of whisky. What are my options?
You can place more than one order through the WhiskyInvestDirect website. The flat shipping fee will apply to each order.

What do I do if my package is damaged or the bottles appear broken?
Please do not sign for your delivery. Ask the courier to return it to us and email us straight away at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know what happened. We will be happy to re-send your delivery.
If you open your box to discover that a bottle is damaged or broken, please take photos to prove the damage and email them to us immediately at email@example.com.
How do I cancel an order?
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org from your registered WhiskyInvestDirect email address, citing your order number, WhiskyInvestDirect username & delivery details and say you want to cancel your order.
If your delivery has not shipped, we will cancel it and return your funds to your WhiskyInvestDirect account.
If your order has shipped, you will need to return your package to us at your expense. Once we receive your bottle and confirm that they are in good, resalable conditions, we will cancel your order and refund your WhiskyInvest Direct account. Only the original price and shipping fee are refundable.
How long do I have to cancel my order?
You can cancel and return your package to us at your expense up to 14 days after delivery. All bottles must be returned unopened and in resaleable condition.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
